Toby Creek Nordic Ski Club
Cross Country Ski Programs
The Toby Creek Nordic Ski Club is the community voice for nordic skiing in the Invermere area. The club has historical ties to the trail system at Panorama’s Beckie Scott Nordic Centre and remains active advocates for high quality trail maintenance, grooming, and development. Club members have built and now maintain the Hale Hut on the Panorama trail system. We also encourage club members to enjoy skiing at our other local ski areas including Nipika Mountain Resort, Baptiste Lake/Edgewater, Radium Resort Golf Course, and Lake Windermere Whiteway.
The Nordic Club is responsible for the annual establishment and maintenance of the Lake Windermere Whiteway. All users of the Whiteway require an annual membership or day use pass available at the trail heads. We should also put a link to the Whiteway map.
We run an annual loppet as well as a kids Jackrabbit ski program. We are also part of the larger organizations, Cross Country BC and Cross Country Canada, which provide support and insurance for club activities and programs.
