 Panorama Mountain Freeride Club

Jumps and Bumps Program

The Jumps and Bumps program is an all mountain program. Kids learn to ski without any competitive pressure and are able to develop a natural passion for skiing. Children love to play on all mountain terrain specially the Bumps, Powder and Jumps. With skiing on all kinds of different terrain children benefit from being more balanced, find more movement and are stronger on their skis. It also allows the children to create a fine feeling for timing and edging control. The program also features intro to the Terrain Park and intro to Avalanche safety. The Jumps and Bumps program is developed by the Canadian Freestyle Club.
The coaching is focused on drills and skills from the newest ski technique. Mike Meadus, the head coach of the Freeride Club has spent 12 years teaching and coaching skiing in Austria before returning back to coach in Canada. Mike is certified with the highest level of the Austrian teaching system as well as with the CSCF and CSIA. The club's mission to develop strong all-mountain freeriders is the main focus from all coaches working with the club. A Coaches training is held every Sunday morning 9-9:50am. At the training Mike is demonstrates the newest skills and drills to develop strong coaching ability for our coaches.

YOUTH FREESTYLE TEAM for skiers 12 and up.

The Youth Freestyle team is focusing on overall ski mprovement and intensive terrain park sessions. This program is perfect for teenagers that like to improve their jumping skills in the terrain park and at the same time focusing on all mountain ski improvement. The Freestyle Youth team is also a great place for teenagers to learn about mountain safety such as avalanche control and terrain park safety. Let your teenager learn the right technique for jumps in the terrain park and technical skiing on all mountain terrain and know that your youth aged kids are in safe hands with this program.
